Designed by Gordon Murray, the F1 seats its driver centrally with two passenger seats set slightly behind and either side, ahead of a BMW-developed naturally-aspirated V12 and an engine bay lined in gold foil for heat reflection.
Power steering and ABS were both deliberately omitted in favour of direct, unassisted control.
