Honest detail means an accurate offer. Condition, outstanding finance, modifications and history all shape the figure. We'd rather know up front than at inspection.
03A direct offer
If your car fits what we buy, you receive a direct offer, typically within 48 hours. No pressure to accept, no public listing.
A direct offer
If your car fits what we buy, you receive a direct offer, typically within 48 hours. No pressure to accept, no public listing.
The offer is worked out by hand, not by a generic pricing tool, and it is a firm figure. Provided the car matches how you described it, the price we agree is the price you are paid, with no chipping at collection. You are under no obligation to accept it.
04Inspection, payment & collection
If you accept, inspection, secure payment and collection are arranged privately, wherever you are in the UK.
Inspection, payment & collection
If you accept, inspection, secure payment and collection are arranged privately, wherever you are in the UK.
Payment is a direct bank transfer, confirmed in your account before the car is collected, so you keep the car, keys and V5C until you have been paid. Any outstanding finance is settled directly with your lender and the balance paid to you. We aim to complete within 7 days where checks and paperwork are ready, and the paperwork is handled for you.
How we value
How an offer is reached.
Every offer is worked out by hand by a specialist, never run through a generic pricing tool. On cars like these, a handful of things shape the figure far more than the model name alone.
Specification
The exact variant, factory options and build details. On a special car, the spec can matter as much as the badge.
Condition
Honest condition inside and out, mechanical and cosmetic: what is original, what has been restored, and anything that needs putting right.
Documented history
Service records, MOT history, ownership, and any marque certification (Ferrari Classiche, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and the like).
Provenance
Where the car has lived, who has cared for it, and the story the paperwork tells.
Comparable private sales
How genuinely comparable cars have changed hands privately, not headline advertised prices.
Because it is considered by hand, the figure reflects your car, not an average. You are under no obligation to accept it.

Documents you'll need
What to have ready when a sale is agreed
Nothing at offer stage. These are needed once you accept an offer:
- V5C logbook (or tell us if you don't have it)
- Both sets of keys, and any spare fobs
- Service history and provenance, if you have it
- Any documented history or restoration records
- Outstanding finance settlement letter, if applicable
- Photo ID matching the V5C (driving licence or passport)
FAQ
Common questions
How is a direct offer different from a listing site?+
Your car is never advertised publicly. A specialist reviews it personally and, if it fits what we buy, makes a direct offer. No strangers at your door, no public listing at any stage.
When do I get paid?+
Payment is a direct bank transfer, confirmed in your account before the car leaves you. You keep the car, keys and V5C until you have been paid, and collection is only arranged once cleared funds are with you. We aim to complete within 7 days where checks and paperwork are ready.
Can the offer change when you collect the car?+
No, provided the car matches how you described it: the figure we agree is the figure you are paid. If something significant that was not mentioned earlier comes to light at inspection we would talk it through, but we do not use the inspection to chip an honest price.
Do I need documents to start?+
No. Just your reg and a few details. The V5C, keys and any finance settlement letter come later, when a sale is agreed, not now.
What kind of cars do you buy?+
Prestige, performance, classic, collector, luxury and other high-value or specialist cars. Not sure yours fits? Ask anyway.
Is there any obligation?+
None. Sending the details and receiving an offer costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.
