The brief tracks Lamborghini's two engine families. On the naturally aspirated V10 side sit the Gallardo, including the lightweight Superleggera, and the Huracan in its sharper forms: the Performante, the race-derived STO, the rear-driven Tecnica and the raised, all-terrain Sterrato, each judged on how far it remains standard.

The V12 line runs from the Diablo SV and 30th-anniversary SE30 through the Murcielago LP640 and SV to the Aventador SV, SVJ and final Ultimae, and now the hybrid V12 Revuelto. On the single-clutch Aventador cars, clutch wear and service records form part of the review.

Across both families a specialist reviews the factory build and finish, main-dealer or specialist service history, and how original the car remains, since wraps, exhausts and wheels are often changed.
